“[On Han Solo] I think one thing that’s fun about the character is that there’s so many things. We all sort of think about him as this swashbuckling, swaggery cowboy and yet you look at the scenes with Leia and he’s pretty insecure. There’s a lot of dimension, I think what makes it he’s the most human, in a way.”
At long last, I know who I am and what I represent. […] A woman, in my own right. A woman for the modern age. And above all, a woman who is free. Free to live, to love – and free to break away.
Olivia Colman will star as Queen Elizabeth II on the third season of Netflix’s The Crown, which premieres in 2019. Tobias Menzies (Outlander) has stepped in for Matt Smith as Elizabeth’s husband, Prince Philip, while Helena Bonham Carter has taken over from Vanessa Kirby as her sister, Princess Margaret.
“Helena doesn’t look like Vanessa, but the spirit is so similar,” showrunner Peter Morgan tells EW.
We’ll also meet adult versions of Prince Charles and Princess Anne, played by relative unknowns Josh O’Connor and Erin Doherty.
“They both feel like real discoveries,” says Morgan.
